Former Governor Nyesom Wike recently addressed the political crisis in Rivers State and his conflicts with his successor, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, during a live broadcast on Channels TV from 1:31:13.

Wike expressed his astonishment at discovering the depth of betrayal he felt. He emphasized the importance of gratitude and prayer, reflecting on his past experiences and the potential dangers he and his family faced while being unaware of the treachery around them. He underscored that divine protection played a vital role in safeguarding him and his loved ones.

Hear him,

“We never knew we were living with a snake, but you must continue to thank almighty God everyday. If you have not been praying, continue to pray that we never died. You can imagine when you are sleeping with a snake, God protected you and snake never bit you. Where would I have been today, where would my wife and children be, not knowing they were living with a serpent. But God is God.”
