One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted after Senate suspended further actions on the Tax Reform Bill.
His statement is coming after DAILY POST reported that the Deputy Senate President, Senator Jibrin Barau suspended further actions on the tax reform bill. The report further stated that Senator Barau revealed that the AGF would meet with the committee to ensure that all parties would be given the opportunity to vent their feelings, after which the meeting would arrive at a rational conclusion.
However, Senator Shehu Sani now shared his thoughts after the report surfaced online. In a post that he shared on his official X handle on Thursday, he said postponing the public hearing on the Tax Reform Bill is like shifting the date of surgery to another date.
