Amid the ongoing crisis in the country, a former Senator representing the Kaduna Central District in the 8th National Assembly, Shehu Sani has reacted to the images and clips of protesters looting in Kano State.

According to the report from the Vanguard, The nationwide hardship protest in Kano has escalated into violence, with hoodlums taking advantage of the situation to loot shops and offices. What began as a demonstration against economic difficulties quickly devolved into chaos as mobs attacked businesses across the city. The looters were seen ransacking properties, removing valuables such as chairs, computers, and other equipment.

However Shehu Sani in a post he shared on his official X handle condemned the looting that occurred in Kano, emphasizing the need to protect people’s lives and properties.

According to the Shehu Sani;

“The images and clips of the looting in Kano is unfortunate and condemnable. All efforts must be put in place to secure people’s lives and properties.”….Sêe_Morē
