Niger Delta activist and traditional ruler, Asari Dokubo, has weighed in on the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, highlighting what he described as Iran’s unexpected response to military pressure.
In a video from 1:16:30 shared on Facebook on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, Dokubo said Iran’s retaliation against more powerful opponents shows a level of resolve that has surprised many observers, especially considering the military strength of the United States.
According to Dokubo, “In all their wars, no one has done what Iran has done to America.” He made the remark while pointing to what he considers Iran’s unprecedented response to U.S. actions.
The conflict intensified in late February 2026 following coordinated strikes by U.S. and Israeli forces on Iranian military installations. In response, Iran launched ballistic missiles, drones, and other attacks targeting U.S. bases and allied locations across the Gulf and nearby countries, including Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan. Iranian authorities described these operations as retaliation.
Dokubo noted that Iran’s ability to strike back at U.S. forces and allied positions, despite facing a stronger military power, challenges long-held assumptions about how wars are fought and won.
He stressed that resistance and counterattacks can significantly shape the outcome of conflicts, not just superior firepower.
Dokubo concluded by urging close attention to the evolving situation, stating that Iran’s actions may redefine how smaller nations confront global superpowers in modern warfare. Read_More…
