Plateau-based cleric, Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, has spoken up about the deceptive nature of bandits, comparing them to Hamas, which is at war with Israel. Speaking on the allegations that, in some areas, some Muslims were allegedly not allowed to enter or risk their lives, Rev. Dachomo described the claims as false. He revealed that those pushing such narratives were trying to deceive the world just like Hamas.
He said in an interview with Channels TV:
“What do you expect from someone who wants to take your land and your village?”
Dachomo further revealed that such people have a way of deceiving the whole world, just like Hamas does by exaggerating the attacks carried out against them by Israel.
Speaking about Hamas, he revealed that sometimes they would ask a child to pretend as if he was shot, then showcase it as one of the casualties of an Israeli attack to gain sympathy from the world.
He added:
“They have a strategy to create a way that would deceive the whole world just like Hamas.
Sometimes they would ask a child to pretend as if he was shot. They would decorate him with something like blood and show the whole world, and Al Jazeera would carry it that Israel has been killing.”
He further revealed that, although he was not denying the fact that Israel has been killing, the propaganda surrounding it was too much — the same way propaganda was being spread about the events surrounding the insecurity crisis in the country. View, More,
