Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X handle to react after Osun State PDP House of Representative members asked the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde to desist in meddling into their affairs. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the governor was powerless.
The recent crisis that rocked the People’s Democratic Party at the national level which left many appalled seemed to have found its way to the grassroots as the governor of Oyo State and PDP Chieftain, Seyi Makinde was warned to stay off.
The warning, which was issued by members of the Osun State house of representatives sparked massive reactions from the general public, including from Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Wednesday December 3rd 2025, the outspoken senior aide pointed out that the PDP Chieftain was becoming powerless.

He further pointed out that the Osun State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party was finally realizing their mistakes in supporting the Oyo governor.
