According to a report that was published by DAILY POST on Saturday, November 1, 2025, the former Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Political Matters, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has reacted to the allegations of Christian genocide in Nigeria.
His statement came after the President of the United State of America, Donald Trump designated Nigeria as Country of Particular Concern.
According to Donald Trump;
“Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria. Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter. I am hereby making Nigeria a Country of Particular Concern”.
Reacting, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed stated that foreign interest are trying to cause division in the country. He said the bandits and terrorists are killing both Christians and Muslims in the country.
According to DAILY POST, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed said that;
“If these reports are true, then we can only say Bismillah. It means foreign interests are being stirred up against us.
“The truth is that those killing Nigerians do not distinguish between Muslims and Christians”. View, More,
