According to a report that was published by CHANNELS TV on Sunday, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Joe Ajaero has directed all states that the minimum wage has not been implemented before the end of November to proceed on strike.

The directive is coming after the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu agreed on a minimum wage.

The NLC President said workers will proceed on strike from the 1st day of December, 2024 in any state that fails to implement the minimum wage before the end of November.

Joe Ajaero stated that Nigerian workers demand justice and they will get the justice.

According to Channels TV;

“To this end, all state Councils where the National Minimum Wage has not been fully implemented by the last day of November, 2024 have been directed to proceed on strike beginning from the 1st day of December, 2024. Nigerian workers demand justice, and justice they shall have”.
