The former First Lady of Ondo state, Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu has taken to her official X account on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 to react to the statement that was made by the MInister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo after Ibom Airline passenger, Comfort Emmanson was remanded in prison over dispute at the airport.
According to the post that the Minister of Aviation shared on his page, he said Comfort Emmanson Will be released from the Kirikiri correctional facility centre within the week.
According to Festus Keyamo on his page;
“I have conferred with Ibom Airline to withdraw the Complaint against her today. When the Police took her Statement in presence of her lawyer, she exhibited great remorse for her conduct”.
Reacting to the statement, Betty Akeredolu commended the Minister of Aviation for making the decision.
She also commended Festus Keyamo for showing compassion on popular Fuji musician, K1 De Ultimate.
According to Betty Akeredolu on her official X account;
“I commend the Honourable Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, SAN, for listening to the public outcry and demonstrating balanced leadership in resolving these highly publicised airport incidents”.
