Former PDP presidential aspirant and media entrepreneur, Dele Momodu, has urged President Bola Tinubu to take more decisive steps in addressing Nigeria’s worsening security challenges.

In a statement shared via his X account on Saturday, November 23, 2025, Momodu stressed that the president must show stronger personal commitment by physically visiting areas affected by violence.

According to him, “President Tinubu should personally visit all trouble spots in Nigeria. He is the commander-in-chief,” a move he believes would demonstrate leadership and reassure distressed citizens.

Momodu also addressed ongoing tensions in the South-East, stating that fair treatment of the Igbo population remains central to resolving separatist agitations.

He wrote that “the best solution to the agitation for Biafra nation is to treat Igbo fairly and not discriminatively,” noting that feelings of marginalization continue to fuel discontent in the region.
