Bello Turji who is regarded as the most wanted bandit leaders in Nigeria has allegedly set all of the hostages in his captivity free as the ongoing military campaigns become intensified.

According to a report from.the stable of Daily Post, the notorious terrorist kingpin took the initiative to release the entirety of the people whom he and his gang members had abducted as a result of the high-level military operations which are targeted at capturing him, as well as thwarting his network in Zamfara and the other states.

A popular Lake Chad Basin counterterrorism information expert, Zagazola Makama, allegedly made it known that the military operations that are being used to mount pressure on the dreaded bandit leader are referred to as “Operation Hadarin Dani” and “Operation First Sanity”.

The report further stated that his strongholds in Fakai, Shinkafi Local Government Area and some neighbouring areas have been severely weakened by recent airstrikes and ground offensives, thereby forcing him and his gang members to be on the run.

Also, it was suggested that, although, the release of the hostages by the fleeing terrorist is deliberate move by him to de-escalate tensions on him so as to prevent a direct confrontation with the security forces, the latter is allegedly determined to get him either dead or alive.

Meanwhile, the troops who were said to have reaffirmed their determination to capture him either dead or alive are allegedly getting closer to him as they continued with the ongoing operations that have already led to the elimination of a number of other bandits.
