A distressed father from Tsanyawa Local Government Area in Kano State has disclosed that armed bandits who abducted ten residents are threatening to execute the captives if their families fail to pay the demanded ransom, according to reports by DAILY POST on Sunday November 30, 2025.

The man explained that the bandits call him multiple times each day, warning that failure to meet their demands would result in the death of their loved ones. He said the ransom being requested is far beyond what the families can afford, as they are mostly small-scale farmers with limited resources. He pleaded with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to intervene urgently before the situation turns tragic.
