Laraba Bala, a woman now living in an IDP camp in Kaduna, has shared the struggles she and others face after being attacked by bandits. She explained that despite their efforts to survive, the bandits continue to make life difficult. She said many of her relatives have been kidnapped, and they lack the money needed to pay for their release

In a video shared recently by Daily Trust TV, Laraba disclosed that she lost all her children and some other family members to bandit attacks. She said even in the camp, they struggle with a lack of food and resources. She also said despite their attempts to return to their farms and grow crops, the bandits prevent them from cultivating their land, making it difficult to feed themselves.

In Laraba’s words: “They killed all my children and some of my relatives, now that we are here we don’t even have food to eat, my children are all dead. What do we do? Out of courage we go back to farms in our villages but the bandits will not allow us to cultivate crops. How do we then feed?”….VìêwMorê
