In a recent video on YouTube from 02:14 , Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has offered guidance to Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi on the path that could increase his chances of becoming Nigeria’s president in the future.
Speaking during a recent session, Ayodele urged patience and strategic alignment, stressing that Obi should reconsider his approach to political leadership.
“And uh honestly speaking, let’s wait till that time. Let’s wait and see how this can happen,” Ayodele stated while addressing political developments and future leadership prospects.
He emphasized the importance of coalition-building and suggested that Obi’s ambition may face challenges unless he repositions himself differently. According to him, taking on a secondary role could eventually pave the way for higher leadership.
“If I were Obi, I give Obi this last note. Let him go and do second fielder. That’s what can make him to be president,” Ayodele said.
However, he observed that Obi remains determined to pursue the presidency directly, which could shape his future political journey. “But Obi will not be second figure; he wants to be president,” he remarked.
The cleric’s comments add to ongoing discussions about the Labour Party’s trajectory after the 2023 general elections, where Obi emerged as a significant force, challenging Nigeria’s two dominant political parties. See, More, Here>>>>
