According to a video that was posted on the official X account of Channels TV, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the Edo state governorship election, Asue Ighodalo has reacted after he saw a video of Senator Monday Okpebholo addressing the people of Edo state.
In the video, Senator Monday Okpebholo said his administration is ready to hit the ground running.
Reacting to the statement, Asue Ighodalo said he is surprised that Monday Okpebholo is addressing the people of Edo state because he didn’t promise them anything during the election.
According to Asue Ighodalo;
“I was listening to Monday Okpebholo and he was talking about his promises to the people of Edo and his campaign promises. They (APC) didn’t campaign, and there was no promise they made. He didn’t even speak; this is the first time I have ever heard him speak. He must have been through a lot of coaching. So, I don’t understand what kind of message he Is trying to pass across to the people”.
