In a video that Channels TV released from 14:05, the reason for Governor Sim Fubara’s postponement of town hall meetings has been revealed.

Fubara said that Obinna Anyanwu, the previous chairman, would have fled from him if he had scheduled a town hall meeting earlier and gone to Etche LGA.

But he claimed that things have changed with John Otamiri Nkugbo taking over as interim chairman of Etche. He said that Nkugbo is excited to speak with and work with him.

Fubara revealed that Nkugbo was prepared to demonstrate his support and dedication even before he came when he recently traveled to Etche to evaluate a project. In his concluding remarks, he expressed that his patience and strategic preparation had paid off.

According to Fubara, “Assuming I go to Etche, the Chairman (Obinna Anyanwu) would run away as soon as he knew I was coming.”

“But now if I am going to Etche, I don’t even need to inform Nkugbo; as soon as he hears, he will be running down there. So who is the winner now?”

“The other day I went to check the project we were doing there; before I got to the place, the action caretaker chairman was there. If it were before, as soon as they hear I am coming, they will mobilize people to run away.”

“So you can see what good planning and patience can give to you. We have been patient; we have planned well, and today all the lines are falling in place.”….Seë_Morë
