A young Nigerian woman, Licia Modey, has shared a shocking encounter she had with armed robbers during her stay in Lagos.
Speaking during an interview on The Lucky Udu Experience FROM 18:28, Modey recounted how the robbers invaded the house where she lived with her uncle and his wife.
According to her, everyone in the building was attacked and beaten — except her.
“In Lagos, I was staying with my uncle and his wife. Armed robbers came to the house and beat everybody in that flat. Everybody in our flat was beaten, even my uncle. They slapped my uncle but told me to lie down on the bed,” she said.
She continued, “They said, ‘Sleep on the bed, just stay there.’ It didn’t occur to me that they wanted to molest me or something. It was later my aunt said she was really scared because she thought they wanted to molest me. The armed robbers gave me VIP treatment.”
Modey said she was confused at the time, as the robbers showed her an unexpected kind of “courtesy” while inflicting pain on others.
