One of the chieftains of the Labour Party, LP, Prof. Pat Utomi has stated that anybody who sees any property or investment that he has outside Nigeria can take over it.
He made the statement on his official X handle. Pat Utomi made the comment after Nigerian businessman, Alhaji Aliko Dangote revealed that he doesn’t have a home outside Nigeria.
In the post that Utomi shared on his page, he said Aliko Dangote showed his commitment to Nigeria by making that bold statement. He said he does not have any property or investment outside Nigeria too.
Here is what he wrote on his official X handle;
“Anyone who can see any property or investment I have outside Nigeria can take over it and keep it. I can say the same for my wife and children. I wish for all in authority positions to make a similar pledge of commitment. I recall a request for a similar pledge about 30 years ago. Soji Apampa and CBI came to the chamber of commerce(LCCI) and requested the leaders to volunteer to make a public pledge that they would not give or take a bribe.
