In a video shared by TVC News from 0:41, Amina Hassan, wife of the slain Vice Principal of Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School, Maga, has narrated the terrifying moments leading up to her husband’s murder and the abduction of 25 students during a violent bandit attack early Monday morning.
The attack, which occurred around 3:30 a.m., began at the staff quarters where Amina and her husband were asleep.
According to her, the bandits broke into their home before proceeding to the students’ hostel.
In an emotional account, Amina described how the family was jolted from sleep by strange noises.
“What happened is that we were sleeping around 3:30 a.m. when we heard noises at the door. I woke my husband and told him the animals were disturbing us. Unfortunately, the bandits broke down our door and entered the house. They killed my husband. After killing him, they ordered me to go with them, but I refused. Just then, my daughter came out of her room. They forced her to follow them instead. They push her ahead of them at gunpoint and made her lead the way to the girl’s hostel.”
Shortly after leaving the staff quarters, the armed men stormed the school hostel, where they abducted 25 female students, leaving the community in shock and despair.
Security agencies have since launched a coordinated search-and-rescue operation, while the state government has condemned the incident and assured families that efforts are underway to secure the safe return of the abducted students. View, More,
