Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist, Prof Chidi Odinkalu has taken to his official X account on Wednesday to say that the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio can’t settle his rift with the senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti.
The human rights activist made the statement after the Senate President said the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi should go and settle the dispute in the Labour Party, LP, before thinking of governing Nigeria.
Reacting to the statement, Chidi Odinkalu said the Senate President has not been able to settle the quarrel he has with Natasha Akpoti but he has the guts to lecture Obi on how to make peace in the Labour Party.
Chidi Odinkalu made the statement following the harassment allegations that the Kogi lawmaker levelled against the Senate President.
According to Chidi Odinkalu;
“He cannot settle his quarrel with just one female senator like that. But he has gumption to give lectures about how Peter Obi should settle quarrel in Labour Party. Is he ok?!”.
