A Former DSS Director, Dennis Amachree has alleged that since the NLC President, Joe Ajaero is a suspect in an ongoing investigation by the police, he cannot leave the country.

He highlighted that Ajaero’s arrest and passport seizure were necessary to prevent him from evading the law. He cited similar cases of individuals trying to escape justice, such as the Binance executive who fled the country after attending a prayer session in the mosque. He argued that the NLC officials are attempting to alter the narrative to suit their interests. He emphasized that Joe Ajaero as a person is a separate entity from the NLC organization.

He said in an interview with Channels TV From 4:52, ”The officials of the Nigerian Labour Congress are trying to change the narrative to suit themselves. But one thing they don’t understand and which should be clear to every Nigerian here is that the person of Joe Ajaero is different from the President of the NLC. Ajaero has been a suspect in an ongoing investigation, he can’t leave the country.

And then of course Ajaero tried to take off from the country overnight before he was arrested. And we have had cases of many people that has been running away from the law. You remember the Binance executive case, the man went to pray and from there he escaped and went out of the country. So Ajaero has to be stopped from traveling and that is why when he was arrested, it is his passport that was taken to stop him from traveling.”….S££ _ MOR£
