Harrison Gwamnishu, a well-known human rights advocate, has made a startling discovery on social media regarding the late Andrew Ochekwo, who was allegedly assassinated a few days ago.
Recall that a few days ago, Mr. Andrew was apprehended by Nigerian police officers in connection with the disappearance of two women in Aba. It is alleged that during his transfer from Aba to Abuja, he attempted to flee, which ultimately resulted in his demise.
Harrison Gwamnishu, who has been investigating the matter since the beginning, has provided an update on social media using his official social media account.
Posting on his official Instagram feed, he said that the Abia State Anti-Kidnapping Squad handled the late Mr. Andrew more like a victim than a suspect.
He further claimed that following Mr. Andrew’s death, one of his phones vanished, and it was said that more than 80 million naira were transferred from his account to an unidentified account.
He said, “Andrew was treated like a victim, not a suspect, by the anti-kidnapping squad in Abia State. We have reliable information that over 80 million naira was allegedly moved from Andrew Ochekwo’s account into a yet-to-be disclosed account.”
“The officers at the anti-kidnapping squad should be investigated as fast as possible. After Andrew was killed, one of his phones was missing.”
However, his post has garnered a lot of reactions from social media users….Sée Móre
