Dr. Samuel Nwanosike, a former Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government, has expressed surprise at Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s public rejection of the Court of Appeal’s decision on the Rivers State House of Assembly leadership.

In an interview with Arise News From 11:58, Nwanosike queried why the Governor is refusing to recognize the court’s ruling, which declared Martins Amaewhule as the speaker of the House of Assembly and instead, continues to back Oko-Jumbo as the speaker. “The Governor is saying publicly that he does not recognize the decision of the Court of Appeal” He said

In his words;

“What’s Wike’s business in the governor bringing appropriation to spend Rivers money? Why would the Governor say the decision that has been taken by the Court of Appeal, the Governor is still saying publicly that he doesn’t recognize decisions of the Court of Appeal, that Oko-Jumbo remains the Speaker he recognizes, that he’s the one that’d state Whether an assembly will Exist or not”….Seë_Morë
