Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has prophesied a future in which Nigerians will be globally admired and respected, simply by virtue of their nationality.
In a stirring declaration during one of his recent sermons, Adeboye encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful despite current national challenges, assuring them that God is not done with the country.
“I’ve said that a day is coming when you travel as a Nigerian,” Adeboye said. “And I’m talking to Nigerians now—the same may be true for the rest of you who are listening all over the world—and people see your passport… this fellow is a Nigerian… and they will all want to touch you.”
The revered preacher spoke with conviction, expressing that a divine transformation is on the horizon for the country and its people. According to him, this future will be marked by a new identity—one where Nigerians are globally recognized not for controversy or corruption, but for excellence, influence, and divine distinction.
His prophecy resonated deeply with listeners, especially amid widespread economic hardship and negative global perceptions of Nigeria. Adeboye’s words offered a message of national pride and spiritual encouragement.
“This is not just wishful thinking,” he emphasized. “It is a future that God is preparing. A time will come when carrying the Nigerian passport will be a badge of honor, not suspicion.”
Adeboye’s vision aligns with his consistent message of hope, redemption, and transformation—both for individuals and for nations. As the country grapples with economic, political, and social trials, his assurance serves as a reminder that no story is beyond God’s power to rewrite.
