In recent times, Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State; Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president of Nigeria; Nasir El-Rufai, a former governor of Kaduna State; and other coalition leaders have adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a platform to defeat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming 2027 presidential polls.
However, in the video, the senate president, Godswill Akpabio, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and noted that the president will rule beyond 2027, even though some individuals are conspiring against him.
He noted that these conspirators had successfully removed a former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, but such history cannot repeat itself in Tinubu’s government.
According to the video, “They did it before and removed our son Goodluck Jonathan, but this time around, the Niger Delta will speak as one voice, and we will tell the president that on his mandate we stand.”
