During an interview on the Mic On Podcast from 29:54, Zainab Buba Galadima, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), criticized the newly formed political coalition led by some disenchanted figures within the ruling party.

She argued that many of the individuals behind the coalition—believed to be associated with the African Democratic Congress (ADC)—were integral members of the Buhari administration and should not absolve themselves from the current issues facing the country.

She made the statement in reaction to the launch of the ADC coalition, reportedly aimed at unseating APC from power in 2027. According to her, the move appears hypocritical, especially coming from those who enjoyed power for eight years and are now claiming to be sidelined or dissatisfied with the system they helped shape.

According to her, “These are the people that formed the coalition, and they’ve been agitating for maybe inclusion, and they feel like maybe things are not being done right. I do understand their situations, but they were in power for 8 years and handled matters. All these people that were there were ministers, powerful people in the Buhari government. Anything that is happening in this Tinubu government, they have a hand in it. You should also be held responsible, so I don’t see what the screaming is all about. You know, in every situation, you’ll always find people that are not happy. I do understand. I’ve never been happy since I’ve been in APC, but you don’t see me forming stuff. Maybe you should try and change it.”
