The Chairman of Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission (NIDCOMM) Abike Dabiri has reacted after Nigerian-American, Kelechi Ndukwe was promoted in the US Navy.

Her reaction was contained in a post that she shared on her official X handle on Friday.

According to the post that Abike Dabiri made on her page, Kelechi Ndukwe was promoted from the rank of Commander to Navy Captain.

Reacting to the latest achievement, Abike Dabiri sent a congratulatory message to him. In the post that she shared on her page, she said Kelechi Ndukwe is the first Nigerian to command a US warship.

She however, concluded her post by saying that she is a proud Nigerian.

Here is what she wrote on her page;
