The Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has reacted after a Nigerian scholar, Peter Ngene won €2 million grant in Netherlands.

According to PUNCH, Peter Ngene won the grant from the European Research Council for his project. The report further stated that Ngene, an associate professor at the Debye Institute for Nanomaterials Science, was among seven researchers from Utrecht University who won the grant.

However, Abike Dabiri has now reacted after the report surfaced online. She shared her thoughts after an X user congratulated Peter Ngene on the achievement.

Here is what the X user wrote;

“Congratulations to Prof. Peter Ngene for winning this fantastic EU grant of €2m. We are very proud of you”.

Reacting, Abike Dabiri stated that it is a great news. In the post that she shared on her official X handle on Sunday, she congratulated Peter Ngene too.

Here is what Abike Dabiri wrote on her official X handle;

“This is great news. Congrats Prof”.
