Former Kaduna State Senator Shehu Sani has made significant comments regarding the political priorities of leaders in the US and the UK, particularly in relation to Nigeria. He recently took to his verified X page to share his insights on the ongoing political changes and their implications for Nigeria.
Sani acknowledged the right of individuals to have opinions on the political climates in both the US and the UK. However, he cautioned against expecting transformative outcomes from the newly appointed leader of the UK Conservative Party or the future winner of the US Presidential election.
In his assessment, Sani stated that regardless of the need for Nigerian resources such as oil and gas, as well as the expertise of Nigerian doctors, these factors do not place Nigeria within the top thirty priorities of Western leaders.
On his Verified X page, he said, “You are entitled to your opinions on the political developments in the US and the UK,but don’t expect any miracle from the new UK conservative leader or whoever wins the US Presidential election. You are NOT a priority in the top 30 list of their priorities.Though they may need your Oil,Gas and Doctors.”
