A former US Ambassador to Ukraine, William Taylor has alleged that the Russians have lost half of their ground Forces to the Ukrainians without any soldier from the United States getting involved in the war.
He highlighted the importance of the United States supporting Ukraine in its conflict with Russia, framing the issue not just as a matter of Ukrainian sovereignty, but as a broader strategic imperative with significant implications for global security. He emphasizes that stopping Russian aggression is crucial not only for Ukraine but for the broader geopolitical interests of Europe and NATO. He pointed out the effectiveness of supporting Ukrainian resistance through military aid and strategic support, rather than direct military intervention.
He said in an interview with FOX News from 14:34, ‘It’s very important that the Russians be stopped. It’s obviously important for the Ukrainians to win the wàr, but it’s also important for Europe and it’s important for NATO. And we have soldiers in NATO, and so the soldiers that we have there are defending NATO nations, along with the soldiers of those nations. The Ukrainians have done great damage to one of our two main enemies. The Russians have lost half of their ground forces without any soldiers from the US. And so, it’s really important that we continue to provide that support to the Ukrainians.”
