According to a video that was posted on the official X account of THE CABLE on Tuesday, House of Representatives member, Alex Ikwechegh has stated that he regrets his actions during his encounter with a driver at his residence in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

Alex Ikwechegh, while speaking at the National Assembly said he has no reason to behave the way he did. The lawmaker asked Nigerians to forgive him so that everyone can move ahead.

According to Alex Ikwechegh;

“Mr Speaker, Honourable colleagues, I just want to state that I am human. All those things I said, I regret. I apologize to all Nigerians. Regardless of the provocation, there should be no reason why I should react in that form. So, I want to use this opportunity to appeal to all Nigerians. Let us allow what has happened to remain in the past and let us forge forward”.
