In a video shared by Arise TV from 18:10, Chief Bode George, a chieftain of the PDP and former military governor of Ondo State reacted after Nyesom Wike, the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), criticized him.

Wike recently criticized George for asking Tinubu to intervene and call him to order amidst the political crisis in Rivers State. He also said George failed to keep his promise after declaring that he would leave the country if Tinubu became president.

However, George emphasized that he didn’t take Wike’s comments as disrespect. He stated that his focus was on resolving the ongoing conflict between Wike and Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

In George’s words: “Whether Wike is in good terms with me or not, when a child talks to his elder, to me I didn’t see that as a disrespect. I have not set my eyes on him and I don’t even remember how long and I am not living my life because of Wike. I saw the shenanigans going on between him and his governor Fubara. I called the chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees and I said this is so important, you must be involved in this, let us arranged to meet Fubara and Wike and know the problem between the two of them”
