In a video recently shared by AIT from 1:10, Isa Andrew, shared more details about his travails at the hands of bandits who kidnapped him and his daughter, Grace Andrew, in Gusau.

Andrew revealed that the villagers they encountered after he and his daughter were kidnapped from their house reacted indifferently as they were being led through farmlands and rural areas. He said instead of expressing concern or raising an alarm, the villagers showed no interest in their plight.

Andrew said some of the villagers merely waved at the bandits as they passed and some farmers, who saw them being led away, briefly glanced in their direction before returning to their work without intervening or asking any questions.

In Andrew’s words: “Nobody said where are the bandits taking these people (my daughter and I) to. Nobody said anything. So they took us, as we were passing these villagers they would just wave at the bandits. Some of them in their farms will just raise their heads, look at us and then bend to continue with their work”.
