One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Segun Showunmi has reacted to the suspension of Umar Damagun as the acting National Chairman of PDP.
According to THE CABLE, a faction of the NWC of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has suspended Umar Damagun. The report further stated that the acting National Chairman was suspended over anti party activities.
However, Segun Showunmi has now reacted to the report. In a post that he shared on his official X handle on Saturday, he said people can debate choices and decisions but action must be by consensus. He said they are in deep trouble and it requires a far thinking approach.
Here is what Dr. Segun Showunmi wrote on his official X handle;
“We can debate choices and decisions but action must be by consensus. That is the way out. We are in real deep trouble and it requires a far thinking approach. You have to play many scenarios with the overarching in mind to get it”.
