Samuel Nwanosike, former Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area in Rivers State, has voiced his deep disappointment with the leadership of Governor Siminalayi Fubara. In a candid interview with TVC News FROM 2:18, Nwanosike, who once campaigned for Fubara and attended university with him, expressed his dismay at how the governor’s approach to governance has changed since assuming office.

Nwanosike admitted feeling “ashamed as a Rivers man” given the governor’s recent actions, which, according to him, contradict the humble and law-abiding image Fubara once presented. “This is not the government we thought about when we all campaigned for Governor Siminalayi Fubara, my friend, a man I went to university with and a man we saw as a humble and gentle person, who will do things in accordance with the law,” Nwanosike lamented.

The former LGA chairman was particularly shocked by Fubara’s public dismissal of a Federal High Court ruling and his accusations against federal institutions. “It’s unbelievable and unimaginable when I saw him on social media saying he does not believe in the judgement of the Federal High Court and that the judge is fraudulent and that the IG is fraudulent and that he doesn’t need the police to conduct local government elections,” Nwanosike said….Vîew _ Morê
