A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Lauretta Onochie has taken to her official X account to react after the governor of Rivers state, Siminalayi Fubara swore in 23 elected local government chairmen in Rivers state.

According to PUNCH, the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has sworn in the newly elected council chairmen of the 23 local government areas.

This came after it was announced that the Action People’s Party, APP won 22 local government while the Action Alliance, AA, won one local government.

According to report, the swearing in ceremony went down at the Executive Council Chamber of the Government House in Port Harcourt on Sunday.

According to PUNCH;

“The exercise was held on Sunday at the Executive Council Chamber of the Government House in Port Harcourt, the state capital, hours after the chairmen were issued certificates of return by the Chairman of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, Adolphus Enebeli.

After the report was shared online, Lauretta Onochie shared photos of the swearing in ceremony on her page;

According to Lauretta Onochie;

“Gov Sim Fubara of Rivers state has sworn in the elected Rivers local government area chairmen”.
