Delivering a message to his congregation, Iginla cautioned that some gym instructors may exploit their positions, thereby posing risks to marital stability.
He clarified that his statement does not apply to all instructors but insisted that certain individuals could “mislead” women during training sessions. The pastor also criticized what he described as unproductive gym habits, claiming that some women continue attending despite not achieving noticeable weight loss.
Iginla advised that married women who wish to stay fit should consider working out at home, where their husbands can supervise or participate in their fitness routines. He stressed that such an arrangement could strengthen trust and preserve the sanctity of marriage.
