Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike, at a grand reception hosted by the Ijaw community, highlighted his extensive political influence, which he emphasized spans both the state and federal levels. He pointed to his accomplishments in Abuja as evidence of his capacity to handle national politics and made it clear that the political arena is far from fully engaged. Wike suggested that the true test of political strength will come when the time is right.
He urged members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to stay prepared, signaling that they would soon witness a more strategic approach to politics. Wike assured his audience that when the right moment arises, party leaders will guide them on the next steps, promising to deliver a strong display of political acumen and unity.
He said in a live coverage by Channels TV from 15:54, “I have gone to Abuja and repeated what I did in the state. So I have left the state, I’ve gone to the federal level, go and see the testimony of what’s happening in Abuja. We didn’t start politics, we have not started politics, when the time comes, we will play politics now. Keep that your party, we will teach you politics.
Tell them to keep their party ready, we will teach them what is called politics. I want to say that I am with all of us, we are together. At the appropriate time, our leaders will call you, and I will tell you the next line of action.”
