Samuel Nwanosike, a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, recently made an announcement regarding the recent gubernatorial elections. He pointed out that Fubara, the newly elected governor, made history by winning all 23 local government areas (LGAs) in the state. This is the first time any candidate has achieved such a feat in Rivers State.
Nwanosike explained that this success is largely due to the excellent work done by the outgoing governor, Nyesom Wike. He noted that the people of Rivers State trusted Wike and his leadership, so they decided to vote for Fubara, who was Wike’s chosen successor. According to Nwanosike, voters believed that Fubara would continue the good work and progress initiated by Wike during his time in office.
In a video shared by TVC from 18:43, Nwanosike said, “It is the first time a gubernatorial candidate (Sim Fubara) who now won as governor won 23 LGAs over 23 LGAs in Rivers State. No governorship candidate in the past achieved that, it is because of the good work of Nyesom Wike. The people of Rivers trusted him and they said for the good work you have done for us, we will vote the person you have brought to succeed you because we believe he will continue from where you stopped.”
