In a video recently shared by News Central TV from 1:25, Fatima Musa, a woman who used to be part of Boko Haram shared that many members of the group commit acts of terror because they are deceived into believing that it will lead them to paradise. She explained that she and over 300 other women surrendered voluntarily, hoping for forgiveness from Allah for their wrongdoings.
Fatima said she deeply regrets burning her certificates in front of her father and friends who had higher degrees. She asked for forgiveness from people and expressed her desire to return to school. She also said her goal is to become a teacher to help guide children who might be misled, just as she once was.
