A PDP Chieftain, Adetokunbo Pearse has alleged that the last paragraph of the PDP Governors memo on the recent comments of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike is disturbing.

He argued that the PDP governors have suggested that the security agencies should investigate the FCT Minister’s statement about causing trouble in their states. He identified that this could lead to trouble for the FCT Minister with national security if any crisis arises in those states. He stated that while Wike may be seen as a tough guy, there comes a point where one needs to reassess their situation and approach matters with caution.

He said in an interview with TVC From 13:02, ”Wike is one man and he has his challenges in Rivers State and he has his work to do in Abuja. So let us see how this would pan out. But now the governor’s forum has issued a statement warning him to ensue peace in Rivers State. The last paragraph of the PDP governors memo was actually very disturbing. They said that the Security agencies of Nigeria should look into what Wike is saying that he will put fire in their state.

He may be in trouble even with the National Security if any crisis surfaces in those State. Anybody who says he’s going to put fire to any governor state in Nigeria is actually looking for trouble. They are not going to sit down and fold their arms and watch you cause chaos in their states. He has to go for peace and understand that prudence is the better part of valour. You may be a tough guy but sometimes you get to a point where you have to review your situation.”….Dìscover_Môré
