The Director of The Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi has taken to his official X account on Thursday to share a statement that was made by APC in 2015 concerning the amount that petrol should be sold in Nigeria.

Sam Amadi shared the statement after a report that was published by PUNCH stated that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC has increased the price of fuel from N600 per litre to N885 per litre.

In the post that Sam Amadi shared on his page, the All Progressive Congress, APC, stated in 2015 that the price of petrol in Nigeria should not be more than N70.

Reacting to the statement, Sam Amadi said those great economists who made the statement should be called upon. He said they can help now.

According to Sam Amadi on his official X account;
