A Former PDP National Chairman, Chief Bode George has alleged that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike has no right to say he will put fire in the PDP governors state. He finds the comment made by Wike as being despicable and that no Political party in Nigeria can condone such utterances.

He expressed concern about the current crisis in Rivers State and the crisis at the National party. He suggested that the National Working Committee should set up a committee of elders, youths, and women to examine the party’s activities before, during, and after the national election. He argued that there is a need to address the issues holistically and understand that the party has not been fair to some people which has led to the current bad blood.

He said in an interview with Arise TV From 3:13, ”The comments by Wike Is despicable, no It is very unfortunate and unacceptable at the same time. Two wrongs don’t make a right. We have to be holistic to prepare the party and to get the party back to what it was. At my age, the way I see all the concern going on I get so scared. Wike has no right to say those things that he said, it was very disturbing to hear that from him. No political party in Nigeria will accept that.

And my suggestion to the National Working Committee is that we should set up a committee of elders, youths and women to look at the activities of the party pre national, during the national election and post national election. Let us address the issue holistically, we have to understand that we have not been fair to some people in this party and that is the reason for this bad blood. I spent 10 years at the National Headquarters of our party and I know that the best way to resolve this kind of crisis is following the pattern of those old men who sacrifice so much to establish PDP.”….SēeMōre
