The Chairman of the All Grand Progressives Alliance, Edozie Njoku has played down the allegations that he’s being sponsored to scuttle the APGA party activities. He asserted his financial independence stating that he sponsors himself politically and that he has the means to do so. He highlighted his humble nature while stating that his first son has an impressive political career as a director of strategy to the UK Prime Minister.

He emphasized that his focus is on getting APGA right and questioned why he should relinquish his position as Chairman after winning the convention. He addressed the false accusations against him which were cleared by the Court, and demanded an apology from Channels TV for propagating the news that he stole the APGA Chairmanship position.

He said in an interview with Channels TV from 6:30, “I’m the one sponsoring myself, I have the means to sponsor myself politically. Edozie Njoku is a person who doesn’t sit on high tables. My first son was the director of strategy to the prime minister of England. If you Google my name, you will see the sort of businesses that i own. But I don’t sit on high tables and i dont even want to be known.

The Job that I have at hand is to get APGA right. The question we should all ask ourselves is that why is it that after I won the convention as Chairman of APGA, I should relinquish my position for another person. My name was dragged as someone who stole this position and my name was cleared in the Court and there should have been a thorough apologies from Channels TV because you were the ones who propagated that news. There was a Court order stopping Victor Oye from conducting a convention but Channels TV went ahead to do a live coverage of that illegal event.”….VïêwMôrê
