A PDP Chieftain, Segun Showunmi has alleged that blaming the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike for every problem in the PSP is unfair and unrealistic. He questions the assumption that Wike is the smartest and the most influential person in the party.

He argued that there are other governors with resources and influence but they fail to take responsibility and instead blame Wike. He stated that the party is not taking itself seriously and is instead resorting to bully tactics. He emphasized that the party needs to take responsibility and work together to address its problems rather than blaming one person.

He said in an interview with AIT From 21:58, ”If you insist that if there is a headache anywhere Wike Is responsible for it. You begin to ask if Wike was the problem before primaries in 2023 and you are still insisting that Wike Is the problem after primaries. Wike is still the problem after election was over, Wike is still the problem after 15 Months. Then we have to ask ourselves certain questions. If you think that he (Wike) Is smart, is he the smartest among all of us? If you think he has money, there are 4 governors in our party that has the money and resources to be able to influence and do certain things.

But the problem with them is that they will not man up to the type of responsibility that our peculiar type of politics demand. And yet they will insist that their enemy so to speak must die so that they can get away without performing their duty. How can you have an exco of 17 people and then you agree that one man is always the Victim and one man is always the Villain. And when you run a bully tactic that seems to always want to elbow people, they return to the Court to protect their interest. So for me, the party is still joking.”….SēēMorē
