Senator Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna lawmaker has taken to his official X account on Saturday to react after South Africa crowned Mia Leroux as the winner of 2024 Miss South Africa Beauty Pageant. She won the competition after Chidinma Adetshina withdrew from the competition.
According to VANGUARD, The 23 year old said that;
“After much careful consideration, I have made the difficult decision to withdraw myself from the competition for the safety and wellbeing of my family and I”.
Senator Shehu Sani reacted after an X user claimed that Chidinma was pulled down from the competition only for a white person to win it.
“Imagine fighting a black child so much and end up with a white #MissSA2024 so which African culture and language does Mia Leroux represent? This is exactly what happens even in the broader economy. Blacks pulling each other down only to benefit Whites!”, he noted on his page.
