Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu has decided to react, following reports that some Nigerians are now substituting tomatoes with watermelon, due to the increased price of tomatoes in the market.

Dele Momodu who made such statement during an interview with NEWSCENTRALTV few minutes ago, accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of trying to rule the country like a dictator, despite the fact that he was one of the many persons that fought for democracy.

Speaking further, Dele Momodu stated that he cannot write letters to the Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives because both of them are answerable to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, adding that he chose to write to Bola Ahmed Tinubu because he is the president of the country.

Dele Momodu then advised members of the National Assembly and House of Representatives that they should reduce their profligacies, adding that;

“Yes I know that a day will come when Nigerians will face hardship, but I never imagined a situation where people will be substituting tomatoes with watermelon.”….Seê Morê
