In a video recently shared by AIT from 44:57, Cletus Obun, a former lawmaker from Cross River State and member of the APC, spoke about President Tinubu’s response to recent protests.

According to Obun, President Tinubu stated that people have the right to protest but they should do so in a way that does not harm others or damage property. He said Tinubu showed deep emotion while addressing the situation. He said Tinubu almost cried while expressing deep empathy for the families affected by the violence and losses during the protests.

In Cletus Obun’s words: “President Tinubu said you can protest, but please put yourself in a manner that you don’t endanger other people’s properties and lives, and again we lost lives. You heard Tinubu’s voice, he was almost crying when he was saying he empathizes with families”….Sêe_Morē
