In a recent video from 05:20 on Facebook, Nigerian cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele has issued a warning to Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, urging him to maintain a peaceful political relationship with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
Speaking during a recent address, Ayodele cautioned that any renewed conflict between the two political figures could have serious consequences for Fubara’s administration. “Fubara, if you want to spend good time in your government, don’t offend Wike again,” he said.
The cleric advised the governor to align closely with Wike’s political stance, stressing the influence the former Rivers governor still holds. “Anything that Wike wants is what you want to do. Don’t let anybody push you to drag anything with Wike,” Ayodele added.
According to him, political disagreements between the two leaders could weaken Fubara’s position. “Otherwise, politically you will go into oblivion,” he warned, suggesting that a breakdown in their relationship could affect governance and stability in the state.
Ayodele further emphasized Wike’s continued relevance in Rivers politics, implying that Fubara’s decision-making power may be limited without his support. “Without Wike, you cannot decide anything,” he said.
The comments come amid ongoing political dynamics in Rivers State, where tensions between Fubara and Wike have drawn national attention in recent months. Analysts note that the relationship between both men remains a key factor in shaping the state’s political landscape. Read_More…
