Former National Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Peter Ameh, has claimed that Peter Obi has done significantly more for northern Nigeria than the late business mogul and democracy martyr, MKO Abiola, ever did.
Speaking in an interview from 7:20 on Symfoni TV, Ameh said Obi’s contributions to the north deserve far more recognition than they currently receive. “Obi has done three times more than what Abiola has done. He has been generous to the north. He has invested in education in the north. He has invested in young people in the north, and that should be respected,” he said.
Drawing a comparison between Obi and Abiola, Ameh argued that both men share a rare combination of private sector experience and genuine love for Nigeria.
He noted that just as Nigerians rallied behind Abiola because they believed a business-minded leader could fix the country and manage its resources effectively, Ameh contended that the same logic applies to Obi today and that this is precisely why his public support has remained so strong and difficult to erode….Read_More…
